And the dice has been rolled

As I wrote previously, I have been thinking between few options on what kind of diet, or should I say lifestyle-change, will I adopt. I was rather sure that I will go for the slow carb diet as the promises or results of that diet seemed very convincing. And I am sure that it works, at least on some level. But after reading peoples experiences about it from forums I am not so sure anymore.

It seems that many did not have that much success with the slow carb diet. The ones who did were really obese so basically anything would have helped them. Instead, it seems that the paleo diet is the way to go. Reading these paleo diet success stories as well as the posts in the above forum convinced me that paleo is a cool choice.

I am excited and a bit worried at the same time. I am certain that I would lose weight with a strict paleo diet. But I kinda like my pasta.

So the decision is between which I want more: Be thin and look awesome or eat the pasta. I think I will choose the first option. What do I have to lose (besides weight) if I try paleo for some weeks? Nothing.

Paleo it is.

Getting direction

So okay, during the last couple of days I have been reading a bunch about different ways to lose weight.

There seems to be a lot of options.

However, i am a bit skeptical on many of those. Seems just a waste of time or someone trying to get rich. Like cabbage soup diet, wtf? How is that good for you if I may ask? And I do ask.

For sure you could lose some weight on it, but it is just not effective at all in the long run. I am sure that the weight would come right back on when you would resume “normal” way of eating. And if something is certain, its that you cant eat just cabbage soup for the rest of your life. If you can, feel a bit a shamed of yourself.

At the moment I am still undecided. I am leaning towards something that uses mostly natural kind of foods and no “tricks” such as powders and stuff. Paleo is one option for sure, though I am not sure if I can stick to that. Other options what I have been thinking about include stuff like Slow carb diet by Tim Ferriss, but lets see. That seems rather okay and maybe the first option for me at the moment. Still have to read a bit more before deciding.

New mission starts!

I am sick of being this fat so I decided to slim down. Read that carefully, I didnt say “i want to”. I will lose weight. That is for sure.

I am still thinking about different approaches to weight-loss and so far I am not completely sure how to go about it.

Something simple and effective would be of course ideal, but as experience shows not many options like that are available. So lets see. In any case. Its on!
